How to use it?

Introduction of Magnetic Limit for Sliding Gate Opener:
The magnetic limit system of sliding gate opener consists of a MOSFET magnetic sensing module and a pair of ferrite limit magnets. It is a non-contact position detection solution.
Important: This product adopts MOSFET electronic sensing solution, no reed switch is used.
Two magnets are mounted on the gate rack during installation. They are distinguished by N pole and S pole, serving as trigger points for fully-open and fully-closed positions respectively. When the magnet moves to the sensor, the magnetic field is detected by the MOSFET. The main control board receives the signal and stops the motor automatically.
✅ Main Advantages
1. No mechanical contacts, longer service life: Solid-state MOSFET sensor. It avoids the defects of reed switches such as fragile glass tube and contact arcing fatigue, good resistance to vibration and impact.
2. Polarity recognition: Magnets with N/S polarity to identify the end positions of gate opening and closing, simple commissioning.
3. Flexible installation: Limit magnets can slide freely on the rack to adjust the full open / full close stroke on site.
4. Outdoor durability: Ferrite magnets have good corrosion resistance. The whole system is waterproof for long-term use on outdoor gates.
5. High stability: Fast response of electronic components, no arc loss caused by frequent start-stop, suitable for high-frequency operation.
Compared with mechanical limit: Mechanical limit relies on physical contact to stop the motor. It is prone to deformation and jamming after long time operation. Magnetic limit has no physical contact and is more recommended for heavy-duty outdoor sliding gates.
Yes. This is MOSFET magnetic limit. It requires DC12V power supply for normal operation.
